Fashion was very different then our fashion today. We always want to make sure that we look tip top but back then the Ancient Egyptians wore what they had. They weren't the richest people so they had to wear whatever they had. Some of them even went naked. When they did have fashionable clothes they definantly weren't like ours today. They had gems and lots of jewelry, well the rich people did, like the pharohs and their many wives. Most people that worked for the pharoh's and kings dressed nicely. Women in Ancient Egypt normally wanted to dress the best but not all of them could. Saying that, some women stole clothes and things from other people.
