Hieroplyphics is a langueage Ancient Egyptians used to communicate in writting. They had their own alphabet. This is similar to our alphabet because there is a simbol for each letter. It's different from our alphabet because some symbols stand for 2 letters. Ancient Egyptians sometimes had to send messages to people that were far away. They didn't have our alphabet like we have today so they had to invent their own way of communicating by message.
